Don Lemon, progressive activists have a tense meeting with Marjorie Taylor Greene staff, output

Former CNN leader Don Lemon joined a group of anti-Trump activists on Tuesday as they entered the Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., And asked for a meeting with her, leading to a tense exchange with one of her employees.

The video posted on X by Ford Fischer showed several protesters, along with the former CNN -speaking who now hosts a Youtube show, entering the Green office to discuss their opposition to President Donald Trump.

“We would like to make sure that she knows we have to remove Donald Trump outside the office. My name is Carlos Alvarez, and I am the founder of the US opposition,” the visible leader of the group told a Green front desk.

Alvarez went on: “I’m sure you saw the protests on the street and the Boycott Tesla and all this. We were one of the organizations that started it.”

Lemon stood by Alvarez holding a microphone, documenting the exchange.

A Green employee entered the room and told the group to stop the registration.

“This is a private office,” staff said.

Alvarez pushed back, replying, “Yes, and we are here to see the Congressman.”

“You are not residents of our district and have not requested a meeting,” the staff replied.

Alvarez said they were looking for a meeting, but staff said there were official methods.

“Bombarding her office and registering our staff is not one of them,” he said.

“We are not bombarding, we are very civilian people,” Alvarez replied.

Lemon Nodohi together and said something about the group that was “American citizens”, suggesting that they had the right to talk to Green.

Alvarez and the staff continued to argue for access to Greene, with Alvarez insisting that the office registration was a “right of first change”.

“No, this is not the case. To take a picture of her private office – no, it’s not,” staff shot.

Alvarez replied, “[Because] Honestly, you work for us. “

“We work for the people of Northwestern George,” the staff said as he pulled them out of the office and closed the door.

The group members left the door and one could be heard calling them “Nazis”.

A Capitol police officer told them to calm down as members of the group cheered in the hallway when they were escorted.

No arrests were made.

Greene responded to X later, referring to Lemon’s fire from CNN in 2023 and calling it a misogynist.

“This is how Don Lemon, who was fired by CNN to be such a disgusting, misogynist pig for his female collaborators and wives, is trying to get viewers for his new podcast,” she wrote, adding that the group had “attacked my Capitol” and harassed her staff.

Lemon responded on Instagram that Greene was “full of s-“.

“I have not attacked your office and no one harassed anyone,” he said, mentioning that they visited other Congress offices, including those of the Democrats.

The Green Office and the White House did not respond immediately to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
