Former MSNBC host Joy Reid said Tuesday that the public knows nothing “nothing” for President Donald Trump’s injuries after what she called the “alleged” murder attempt against him during a Pennsylvania rally last year.
The former “Reidout” Host appeared on its old MSNBC colleague’s channel, Katie Phang, where she criticized media coverage for Trump’s health over the past week.
As an example, she argued that the media “neither can ask” questions about the first attempt to kill Trump during his time as a candidate.
“He has these magical doctors who claimed to have been shot in the ear, but his ear, I think, grew up again,” Reid noted.
“He had a ducal bandage in a minute, no other bandage. We can’t get a medical record from this alleged murder. He was supposedly shot. We have nothing. We have nor no – we can’t even ask.”
Phang intervened, “Where are the investigative data? One day, he hit a maxi pillow in his ear. The next day, the ear is completely good.”
“Bound!” Reid shouted.
“I remember I was in the main media, where we both worked, saying,” Isn’t it strange that we have never asked for his medical records? “And I became in trouble for that.
Reid suggested that she knew more about past political efforts against former Presidents Gerald Ford and William McKinley than that of the latest attempt against Trump.
“We’re not getting anything. And the main media is not looking for his medical records. They are not looking for anything. They are terrified of this man,” Reid said.
Reid questioned Trump’s injuries just days after the shooting, suggesting that he was hit by glass instead of a bullet.
“I have a lot of questions! How are the medical reports? What caused Trump’s damage and what was the injury? Sheapnel? [sic] Glass? A bullet? Where were the three in attendance who were shot down or standing compared to Trump? Why was Trump allowed to stand and pose for the photo, the fist pumps for nearly ten seconds as he asked about his shoe when there could be an extra gunfire? “Reid wrote in a post in Threads in 2024.
“How did the armed man board the roof of the building where the local police were literally inside?” she asked.
Fox News Digital arrived at the White House for comment.
